Fabio Wardley vs Michael Polite Coffie Prediction & Best Bet
Fabio Wardley has done a terrific job at dominating the heavyweight scene in his home country. The British heavyweight titleholder is off to a 14-0 start to his boxing career, having finished off 13 of his opponents thus far. In fact, he wasn't won by points since his first-ever professional match, giving him a ton of momentum this weekend.
Michael Polite Coffie showed promise early in his career, but he's been caught in a rut since 2021. The Bronx, NY native has dropped three of his last four fights, losing twice by KO/TKO. That includes his last fight when he suffered a sixth-round knockout loss to Gurgen Hovhannisyan.
Long story short: there's little reason to believe that Wardley's undefeated streak is in jeopardy. He's displayed incredible finishing ability and will be even more motivated to win the vacant gold in front of family and friends in London. Polite Coffie's susceptibility to being KO'd only further supports my choice.
Having said that, there aren't a ton of betting options available, so I'll go with Wardley to win by KO/TKO at -330 odds. He's left 13 straight opponents laying on their backs for a reason. Polite Coffie isn't anything too special in the ring and will suffer the same fate as a result.
Bet: Fabio Wardley by KO/TKO (-330)
