Eagles Super Bowl Jersey Color Choice Revealed

The Philadelphia Eagles will attempt to win their second Super Bowl title in the last six seasons when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs at State Farm Stadium on Feb. 12. The NFC team is always the home squad in odd-numbered Super Bowls, meaning the Eagles got to choose their jersey color first.

Philadelphia revealed that it will be wearing its midnight green jersey in Super Bowl 57. Keep in mind it's the same jersey worn in both the team's Wild Card and Divisional Round victories. Rumors had suggested the Eagles were debating on donning black alternate uniforms, but that is not the case.

Of course, the Eagles wore midnight green when they won their first Super Bowl title in franchise history back during the 2017 NFL season. Philadelphia kept up in a shootout with the New England Patriots, winning by a score of 41-33. Quarterback Nick Foles was named MVP for his performance.

Philadelphia Eagles Record in Green Jerseys This Season

The Eagles will likely go with white pants on Feb. 12, as they have yet to don pants of any other color with a midnight green jersey in this campaign. Overall, Philadelphia posted an 8-2 record this season (including playoffs) in green jerseys and white pants. It posted a 8-1 record wearing any other combo.

The Chiefs revealed that they will be wearing their white jerseys, which is notable as 35 of the the 56 Super Bowl champions have worn a white jersey. Philadelphia has been beating the odds all season, though, and enter the biggest game of them all as 1.5-point favorites, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
