Eagles Reveal National Anthem Singer for NFC Championship
Updated:
Everyone always awaits to hear who will sing the national anthem at the super Bowl every year, with this year's being awarded to country star Chris Stapleton. However, the National Anthem is sung by someone at every NFL game, and the two games this weekend are the two biggest of the season thus far, so singing the anthem at the AFC or NFC Championship game is a pretty big honor.
The Eagles have announced that Anita Baker will be singing the national anthem in Philadelphia for the NFC Championship game.
Baker has won 8 Grammy Awards in her long and impressive career, with her first win coming in 1987 and most recent coming in 1996. She actually won her first three Grammy nominations. She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1994 as well.
The Eagles are currently 2.5-point home favorites against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
