Dustin Johnson U.S. Open Prediction 2023

Dustin Johnson is no stranger to making his presence felt at the U.S. Open. He's racked up six top-10 showings since 2010, which includes his 2020 victory and a runner-up finish in 2015. Aside from a T6 showing in 2020, he hasn't come close to winning again in recent years, highlighted by T19 and T24 placements in the last two tournaments.

More 2023 U.S. Open coverage on The Duel:

As a member of 4Aces GC on the LIV Golf tour, Johnson has experienced mixed results. While he took home first-place honors at Tulsa just last month, he hasn't cracked the top 5 other than that performance and has finished 25th or worse in two of his latest three outings. On top of that, he finished T48 or worse in his attempts to win this year's Masters and PGA Championship.

Although Johnson's produced past results, I'm erring on the side of caution by taking a Dustin Johnson top-30 finish at -115. His LIV Golf results have been a mixed bag while his performances at the first two major events this year were abysmal at best. Had he not won the U.S. Open before, I might be tempted to stay clear of him outright.
