Although Thiem has the slight edge in this rivalry, Tsitsipas has won four of the last seven meetings — including a three-set win at the Madrid Open just over two months ago.

Much like how things went in Madrid, I see Tsitsipas winning this matchup, too. The Greek competitor has elevated his game at Grand Slam tournaments this year, reaching the Australian Open Final before playing in the quarterfinals at Roland Garros. On the other hand, Thiem has suffered first-round eliminations in each of his last five major appearances.

With Thiem struggling under the spotlight, Tsitsipas will move on without much issue.
