The NBA made its Christmas Day debut in 1947, and the holiday has been a constant part of the league's regular-season schedule ever since.
Denver played its first game on Dec. 25th in 1949. The Nuggets unfortunately lost 76-72 to the Sheboygan Red Skins. It would take until 1994 for the team to get its first win on Christmas Day. They defeated the Seattle SuperSonics 105-94 in a rematch of their heated playoff series from the previous postseason.
Denver's most recent Christmas appearance was in 2022. The Nuggets hosted the Phoenix Suns and pulled out the 128-125 victory thanks to a 41-point triple-double from Nikola Jokic.
