Figueiredo vs Moreno Prediction
Fans know how great of a fight this could be considering it's a matchup that has already happened three times. The first fight in 2020 ended in an exciting draw, while the second fight in 2021 ended in a victory for Moreno (submission). Figueiredo won the third bout in 2022 via unanimous decision.
Both men want to end the rivalry with a win and know each other's strategies well. It makes predicting a winner tough, but I'll ultimately side with Moreno. Look for the 29-year-old to go back to the strategy that earned him a win in 2021. It's a confident and consistent attack mixed with submission moves.
Moreno came close to winning the third fight before a couple of key takedowns gave Figueiredo an edge in the judge scoring. He enters this one with a distinct advantage on the ground. Moreno lands 2.05 takedowns per 15 minutes, while Figueiredo only lands 1.54. That'll prove to be the difference.
Give me Brandon Moreno to emerge victorious.
Figueiredo vs Moreno Best Bet
This bout lines up as a true toss-up, which leaves little value in backing either fighter. The value lies in betting on how the fight will end, instead. Two of the three bouts between these UFC beasts have gone the distance. It makes sense as the two champions are more similar than they are different.
Moreno may hold the edge in takedowns per 15 minutes, but Figueiredo holds the edge in takedown accuracy (52%). Figueiredo also has an advantage in strike accuracy (56%), while Moreno has an advantage in strikes landed per minute (3.44). As can be seen, this one is going to be a tense battle.
Bet: Fight to Go the Distance (-134)
