Commanders' Playoff Odds Take a Turn Leading Up to Week 16

Updated:

The NFC East has been the best and most surprising division in the NFL this season. It has been so good that as things stand, all four teams would make the playoffs if the season ended today.

The Washington Commanders are in last place but are still over .500 at 7-6-1. A Week 15 loss to the New York Giants dropped them to the No. 7 seed and the final Wild Card spot, but despite that, the oddsmakers still don't like Washington's chances to make the playoffs.

Washington Commanders Playoff Odds

According to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds, the Commanders have +205 odds to make the playoffs and -260 odds to miss out.

One reason to be pessimistic about Washington is its remaining schedule. The Commanders close out their regular season with three tough matchups against the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys.

Needless to say, the oddsmakers don't like those matchups for Washington. The Commanders are currently 7-point road underdogs in San Francisco in Week 16, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
