The 2022 C-USA Championship will be played at USTA's Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. The Alamodome was built in 1993 and holds a capacity of 64,000 seats.

USTA is 5-1 when playing at home this season while the North Texas Mean Green are 2-4 on the road. UTSA beat North Texas, 31-27, while playing at home in late October.

The 2022 C-USA Championship is officially scheduled for Week 14 of the college football season. The game will be played on Friday, Dec. 2 with a kickoff time scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. The game airs live on CBSSN.

This is a rematch from a Week 8 game that saw the Roadrunners emerge victorious by a final score of 31-27. UTSA leaned on the ground game in that one as it logged 258 rushing yards on 53 carries (4.9-yard average). On the other side, North Texas tallied 325 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air.

The Roadrunners needed a touchdown in the final 30 seconds to escape, though. Seeing this game go down to the wire once again would not be surprising. I'll give the edge to UTSA simply due to the fact that North Texas allows a dismal 5.8 yards per play and 451.0 yards per game (No. 117 in FBS).
