The 2022 NFL season continues with 15 games set for Week 8 action, including a battle between the Denver Broncos (2-5) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2-5). The Broncos have yet to find any sustained success on offense, while the Jaguars have been on the wrong end of some nail-biters as of late.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds, Jacksonville is a small -136 favorite on the moneyline (2.5-point spread) in a game with an over/under set at 40.5.

It's been one disaster after another for the Broncos. Denver is averaging a league-worst 14.3 points per game and have been held to 16 points or less in all but one contest this year. Quarterback Russell Wilson is set to make his return from an injury this week, but not even that news inspires much hope.

Wilson has posted a career-low 58.6% completion percentage in 2022 and cannot get on the same page as his receivers. That does not bode well considering the Jaguars are allowing an opponent completion percentage of just 63.4% (No. 12 in NFL). Jacksonville has logged 7 interceptions as well.

Keep in mind the Jaguars know what it takes to win in London. They are 4-4 straight up across eight matchups overseas, while the Broncos own an 0-1 record outside of the United States. Jacksonville's players and coaches have the experience needed to keep things normal in this kind of environment.

Jacksonville is 5-2 against the spread in its last seven games against Denver, so I'll back Jaguars -2.5 (-105) with confidence. As for the point total, defense reigns supreme in this one. The under has hit in six of the last nine meetings between these two squads, so I'll side with under 40.5 points (-110).
