The NLDS has been exciting to watch this year, especially as far as the Atlanta Braves vs. Philadelphia Phillies series is concerned. After the Phillies won Game 1 by the skin of their teeth, the Braves battled back to even the series with a 3-0 shutout on Wednesday night.

Can Philadelphia bounce back in Game 3 at home? Or will the defending World Series champions be too much to handle?

Braves vs Phillies Prediction & Pick

Playing on the road, the Braves need to figure out a way to get off to a quicker start. They fell behind early in Game 1 and were unable to battle back, so they'll want to avoid a similar script in Game 3.

Atlanta also has to deal with Philadelphia starting pitcher Aaron Nola, who's 3-2 with a 3.67 ERA and 41 strikeouts in five games against his NL East rival this season. Nola's also coming off a dominant performance against the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Wild Card Series, which saw him go 6 2/3 scoreless innings with six strikeouts.

It's hard to trust the Braves until they show more consistent fight. After a day off to reset, I'm backing the Phillies at home in Game 3.

Final Score Prediction: Braves: 3 | Phillies: 5

Braves vs Phillies Probable Starting Pitchers

The Atlanta Braves give the ball to Spencer Strider (11-5, 2.67 ERA), while the Philadelphia Phillies will hand the ball to Aaron Nola (11-13, 3.25 ERA).
