The 2022-23 NFL playoffs are officially here. This postseason features plenty of exciting matchups to kick things off, including a Wild Card clash between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.

This isn't the first time Buffalo and Miami have squared off in the playoffs. Here's everything you need to know about the Bills vs. Dolphins rivalry in the postseason.

Bills vs Dolphins Playoff History

The Bills and Dolphins are used to meeting regularly as division rivals. However, these AFC foes have also played each other four times in NFL postseason history.

All of Buffalo and Miami's previous playoff battles came during the 1990s. Their first postseason matchup took place in the Divisional Round following the 1990 regular season. The 1-seed Bills hosted the 4-seed Dolphins and defeated them 44-34 on Jan. 12, 1991.

Buffalo then again won versus Miami in the playoffs following the 1992 and 1995 seasons. The most recent meeting, though, finally went in the Dolphins' favor. They defeated the Bills 24-17 in the Wild Card Round on Jan. 2, 1999.
