19. James Conner, Arizona Cardinals
James Conner came out of nowhere to rank as the RB5 in PPR scoring last season. The story of his season was unprecedented touchdown production, racking up 18 TDs (15 rushing, 3 receiving), which placed him No. 3 in the entire league. Though there's worries about regression, he at least saw the volume to potentially keep thinsg up in 2022. Conner handed 202 carries last season, and he turned his 39 targets into 37 receptions. His 28 red zone rushes also were the third most in the NFL, and with Chase Edmonds no longer in Arizona, the path to another top RB finish is clear for Conner. 8. Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Mixon bounced back in a huge way last season. Finally avoiding a significant injury-related absence, Mixon tore things up en route to an RB4 finish in PPR scoring. His 292 carries ranked No. 3 in 2021, and he took full advantage of that major workload by posting 1,205 yards (No. 3) and 13 TDs (No. 4). He also added a little extra something with 42 receptions, 314 yards and 3 TDs as a pass-catcher. Mixon now will resume his workhorse role behind a much-improve Cincinnati Bengals offensive line, paving the way for another huge year. Check out Mixon's 2022 fantasy football outlook here.

1. Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
There's little debate over the RB1 in 2022. Jonathan Taylor is coming off of a monstrous year in terms of volume and production. The Wisconsin product took home the rushing triple crown by leading the NFL in carries (332), yards (1,811) and TDs (18), en route to finishing as the top running back in fantasy. He also set career highs in targets (51), receptions (40), receiving yards (360) and TDs (2) as a pass-catcher in 2021, adding some extra weekly upside. Taylor will once again be the bell cow for the Indianapolis Colts, though Matt Ryan's arrival may cut slightly into Taylor's workload if the passing game finds new life.
