3 Best Prop Bets for Clippers vs Suns Game 2 on April 18 (Russell Westbrook Lights Up the Scoring Column)

Tuesday's NBA Playoffs slate includes and exciting Game 2 showdown between the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns. The Clippers pulled off an upset in Game 1 as they emerged victorious by a score of 115-110 thanks to Kawhi Leonard's big performance (38 points, 5 rebounds & 5 assists).

1. Russell Westbrook - Points: Over 16.5 (-120)

Russell Westbrook excelled at just about everything except scoring the ball in Game 1. He logged 10 rebounds and 8 assists while playing standout defense in the fourth quarter. Seeing him shoot as poorly as he did on Sunday (15.6%) again would be shocking considering he shot 48.9% from the floor with the Clippers during the regular season. Westbrook has also averaged 17.6 points per playoff game since leaving OKC back in 2019. The Suns are giving up the most points to opposing point guards over the last 15 games (28.9) and will let Westbrook shoot if that means Kawhi Leonard is not. Trust the veteran to bounce back from a scoring perspective.

2. Deandre Ayton - Double-Double: Yes (-125)

It's worth noting that the Clippers earned a Game 1 win in large part due to their rebounding prowess. LA won the rebounding battle 49-42, yet Phoenix center Deandre Ayton still posted a stat line of 18 points & 8 rebounds. He was battling throughout the night and fell just short of another double-double. This is a guy who is averaging 18.0 points and 10.0 rebounds on the season and has logged a double-double in 16 of his last 27 games overall. He has a great chance to get back to that level of production in Game 2 given the Clippers allow 14.9 rebounds per game to opposing centers.

3. Norman Powell - Made Threes: Under 1.5 (-130)

This prop bet comes down to Norman Powell's role on the Clippers more than it does anything else. The eighth-year pro only played in 23 minutes in Game 1, which was down from the 26.1 minutes per game he averaged during the regular season. He also went just 1-of-4 from beyond the arc and is now just 2-of-17 from three-point range over his last five contests. Powell has failed to drain at least a pair of three-pointers in seven of his last 10 games overall. Phoenix's defense is no joke, either, as it ranks fourth in opponent made three-pointers per game (11.4). Nothing points to a big game from Powell on Tuesday.
