Best Numbers for Super Bowl Squares Ahead of Bengals vs Rams (Updated)
Updated:
Joining a Super Bowl squares pool is one of the easiest and most fun ways to add a little excitement to the big game. If you want to play this year, you can print out a sheet of your own using this link.
But which numbers should players be hoping to get? Let's break down the best numbers to get for your Super Bowl squares pool heading into the big game.
Best Numbers for Super Bowl Boxes
Some numbers are absolutely better than others, and the best options shouldn't come as much of a surprise.
The two best are probably 7 and 0. These are particularly valuable in the first quarter, as a 7-0 lead would net a payout and is a very plausible first-quarter score. But 7-0, 0-7 or 0-0 is going to be a threat to hit all throughout the game. In fact, Business Insider looked at all the data and found that 7-0 was statistically the best number combination to get.
Drawing a 3 and 4 can be quite valuable as well, though. The 3 is pretty self explanatory as it's valuable due to field goals, but the 4 isn't bad either. It'd only take 2 touchdowns for that 4 to hit at 14, and 24 is a pretty common score, too.
3-0 was the second-best number combination to get, followed by 4-0, 0-0 and 7-3, according to that same Business Insider study. If you don't have any of those numbers, you'll probably need a good amount of luck in order to win.
But if you're saddled with with some of the worse numbers, like a 2, 5, or 8, don't give up hope. It's the Super Bowl, and anything can happen in the Super Bowl!
