Best 2022 Fantasy Football Draft Locations

While much of the fantasy football world has gone digital and holds their drafts entirely online, there are still plenty of leagues that love the experience and authenticity of an in-person draft.

It can be an awesome way to connect again with the members of your league that you may not see as often, and a good time hanging with friends eating some good food, having some drinks and talking football.

With that in mind, let's take a look at some of the best places to hold your in-person fantasy draft.

Best Locations to Hold Your Fantasy Football Draft

6. Office

While they may not be as common this year with so many working from home, office leagues are still among the most popular. Take advantage of your office's biggest conference room, reserve it and see if you can't swindle your way out of a couple hours of work on a Friday afternoon. It will be great for morale.

5. The Best Local Sports Bar

Most of these places will have a private room or at least an area you can reserve for this purpose. Everyone gets together and you have the luxury of food and drinks being brought to you throughout the draft. This never fails to be a great time.

4. The League Member With the Nicest House

Someone in your league has a great sports-watching room, or big living room, a pool or even a huge backyard. Whoever has the best setup and venue in your league, everyone brings over some food and drinks potluck style and host your draft there.

3. League Loser's House

Sticking with your leaguemates, this one doubles as a last-place punishment. Whoever finished in last place the season before is on the hook for hosting — and that includes providing the beer and food, as well as dealing with your league's biggest drinker inevitably having one too many and having to crash on the couch.

2. Las Vegas

Pull a page from "The League" playbook and head to Vegas for your draft. The sports betting and debauchery capital of the world, Vegas has no shortage of rooms or pool-party cabanas that can be rented out for this purpose. There might not be a more exciting atmosphere for your draft.

1. NFL Stadium

While this one could be a bit on the pricier side, a number of NFL Stadiums offer the chance to rent out one of their suites to host your fantasy football draft. With food and drink options available, all with the backdrop of your favorite team's stadium, its tough not to call that a fantasy.
