Albazi vs Costa Prediction
Albazi is the heavy favorite here and it shouldn't be surprising. The former FSC Bantamweight Champion has only lost once in his 13-year career and has won two of his first three UFC fights by first-round submission, going 3-0 to begin his stint in the company.
Meanwhile, this will be Costa's first UFC match since beating Andres Luna (split decision) in Dana White's Contender Series back in July. He knocked Carlos Gomez out in his last fight at Lux 027, however, it's safe to say that Costa's previous opponents don't hold a candle to what Albazi brings to the table.
After how dominant Albazi has looked in a UFC cage, I don't see him having too much trouble with Costa. Costa just isn't used to this level of competition and it'll be too late for him by the time he figures his opponent out.
Give me Albazi winning this one.
Albazi vs Costa Best Bets
Albazi has been using his submission arsenal to rack up the wins, winning six of his last nine fights by submission and making two of his three UFC opponents submit. While Costa is 6-0 when his fights matches are decided by submission, he still doesn't have the high-level experience that Albazi possesses.
Looking to make yet another opponent tap or pass out, I'll take Albazi winning by submission again (+160).
