Abraham Ancer Masters 2023 Odds, History & Prediction (LIV Golfer's Downward Trend at Augusta Continues)
Updated:
With the 2023 Valero Texas Open behind us, the golf world's attention is now officially turned to The Masters.
There's no more prestigious event in golf, and winning The Masters can solidify a golfer's legacy. For someone like Abraham Ancer, who missed the cut in 2022, a strong showing at Augusta is needed to silence the doubters.
Here's everything you need to know about Abraham Ancer's Masters odds and history heading into the 2023 event.
Abraham Ancer Masters Odds & Prop Bets (Updated)
Round 3 Update: Ancer heads into Round 3 at 1-under par and a long way back of the leaders. If he is to hope to make any type of run at the Green Jacket, he will have to make some serious noise Saturday afternoon with a low score. Saturday is called moving day for a reason.
Abraham Ancer has +17000 odds to win The Masters on FanDuel Sportsbook. This has him sitting at No. 43 in the field and sitting not far back from the +150000 odds required to crack the top 40.

Abraham Ancer Masters Prediction 2023
Abraham Ancer's Masters Tournament history is quite the mixed bag. After impressing with a T13 finish in his event debut three years ago, his finishes have trended downward since then, placing T26 in 2021 before missing the cut altogether in 2022.

Ancer's recent play on the LIV Golf tour has also left a lot to be desired. He's finished 28th or worse in two of his three events played so far and placed 17th at Mayakoba. Considering how he's accumulating those results while playing against lesser competition, I have a tough time feeling confident about him at Augusta.
When it comes to his best bet at the 2023 Masters, going with Abraham Ancer finishing in the top 40 at -110 odds is the only option to even consider. His play this year has been lacking and his downward trend at Augusta does the opposite of inspiring confidence. This betting option casts a safety net while providing decent value.
Still, I'd avoid Ancer from a betting perspective unless you're mind is set on it.
