3 Potential AFC Championship Neutral Sites That Are Actually an Advantage for Bills

The Buffalo Bills secured the AFC's No. 2 seed after a furious 13-3 regular season campaign. While there's still some disappointment about not grabbing the top seed, and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, the NFL did right by Buffalo in the case of a Bills-Chiefs AFC Championship matchup.

If the Bills advance to face the Chiefs in the title game, this clash will be played at a neutral site location. Not only does this mean the Bills won't have to go into the intimidating Arrowhead Stadium, but depending on which site the league chooses, it could turn out a big advantage for Josh Allen and his crew.

Here's a look at three neutral site locations that would actually be an advantage for the AFC's No. 2 seed.

AFC Championship Neutral Sites

1. Caesars Superdome (New Orleans, LA)

It wouldn't be surprising to see the NFL opt for an indoor stadium if given the choice. That makes the Saints' Caesars Superdome an intriguing choice. Especially for Allen and his Bills. Allen made one appearance in his career at Caesars and it was a doozy. The teams squared off in Week 12 of the 2021 campaign where Allen tossed 4 TDs and completed 23 of his 28 passes. The Chiefs have played in Caesars just once since Patrick Mahomes entered the league, and barely escaped with a 32-29 victory.

2. Hard Rock Stadium (Miami, FL)

In 77 career games, there's been one stadium that's home to Josh Allen's greatest performance of his career, at least in terms of QB rating. Allen posted an insane 146.7 mark when playing against the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium back in September of 2020. His stat line was insane, recording 415 yards and 4 touchdowns. Miami was also where Allen rushed for his single highest mark, 135 yards back in Week 13 of the 2018 season. Allen and the Bills are comfortable in Miami, playing at least once a year as AFC East rivals. Allen may be just 3-2 in his career games at Hard Rock, but between his all-time performance and the comfort of familiarity at this venue, it's one that would give Buffalo a serious edge.

3. AT&T Stadium (Arlington, TX)

Josh Allen and the Bills have played at the Cowboys just once in his career, dating back to Week 13 of the 2019 season. Not only did this end up a victory for Buffalo, but Allen posted a solid 120.7 QB rating. He threw one touchdown, rushed for another, and completed nearly 80% of his passes. Buffalo has gone 2-2 in their recent all-time trips to Dallas, a place the Chiefs don't fare very well. Kansas City has lost their past five games on the road in Dallas, and the only one they played at AT&T Stadium.
