3 Best Prop Bets for Saints vs Buccaneers Monday Night Football Week 13 (Bucs Quiet Alvin Kamara on Ground)
Updated:
Week 13 of the 2022 NFL season wraps up with an NFC South clash between the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football. Tampa Bay is seeking revenge after losing to their rivals in Week 2.
Here are three of the best prop bets for the Saints vs Buccaneers matchup, courtesy of NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Saints vs Buccaneers MNF Prop Bets Tonight
1. Alvin Kamara - Rushing Yards: Under 47.5 (-110)
This rushing total is ambitious for Alvin Kamara. He's struggled to get anything going on the ground as of late, hitting the under here in each of his past four games. With the Saints trailing early and often during this stretch, they've relied on Kamara to produce as a receiver instead. That's led to the star RB averaging just 9.0 carries over his last four outings, giving him few opportunities to actually rack up rushing yards. The Bucs own one of the league's stingiest defenses, and with New Orleans slated as 3-point underdogs, Kamara will likely see more pass-catching work than running work in this one.
2. Tom Brady - Total Passing Completions: Over 25.5 (-102)
Tom Brady had serious troubles against the Saints in their previous meeting, tying his season low with just 18 completions. However, with his receiving corps back at full strength, he's turned it on recently, completing at least 26 passes in four of his last five games and seven out of 11 this season overall. Slot specialist Chris Godwin being fully healthy again has given Brady a strong safety valve to lean on for short-yardage gains. Brady also has a well-known affinity for checking down to his running backs underneath, which also helps him rack up completions in a hurry. With the Saints' defense still banged up, the 15-time Pro Bowler should find plenty of holes in coverage to make easy passes.
3. Jarvis Landry - Receiving Yards: Under 36.5 (-110)
Jarvis Landry simply has been the factor New Orleans hoped he'd be this season. Outside of his Week 1 explosion, he's failed to impress, hitting the under here in five of his last six appearances. Even more concerning is the fact his snaps played have actually decreased since he returned in Week 10, giving him less time on the field to make plays. All signs point to another dud against a Tampa Bay defense holding opponents to the fifth-fewest passing yards per game.
