3 Best Prop Bets for Commanders vs Eagles Monday Night Football Week 10 (Jalen Hurts Relies on his Arm to Score)
Updated:
Week 10 of the 2022 NFL season wraps up with a Monday Night Football battle between the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles will look to stay undefeated on the year, while the Commanders will aim to get back in the race for a playoff spot with an upset victory.
Here are three of the best prop bets for the Commanders vs Eagles matchup, courtesy of NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Commanders vs Eagles MNF Prop Bets Tonight
1. Jalen Hurts - Passing Touchdowns: Over 1.5 (-106)
Jalen Hurts has become known for his ability to scramble out of the pocket for first downs as a mobile quarterback. The third-year pro is quickly developing into a reliable passer as well, though. He has racked up 8 passing touchdowns over the last three weeks and has cashed the over on this prop in four of his last six contests. Hurts threw for 3 touchdowns against Washington back in Week 3 and has a great chance to repeat that success on Monday night. The Commanders are tied for the fourth-most passing touchdowns allowed this year (16) and do not have the cornerback depth to keep up with Philly's explosive weapons on offense. This is a mark he could hit before halftime.
2. Brian Robinson - Rushing Yards: Over 35.5 (-113)
The Houston Texans showed last week that Philly can be exploited on the ground. Running back Dameon Pierce gashed the Eagles defense for 139 yards on 27 carries. Washington will likely be looking to do the same as long as the score stays relatively close. Brian Robinson has logged more than 35 rushing yards in three of his five games this season and has seen double-digit carries three different times. That bodes well for his chances of getting early touches against a defensive line that is missing its best run-stopper in Jordan Davis. The Eagles are giving up 5.2 yards per carry (T-No. 28 in NFL) and 121.4 rushing yards per game (No. 21 in NFL). All it will take is one big gain for Robinson to cash this prop bet.
3. Anytime Touchdown Scorer: AJ Brown (+115)
If Jalen Hurts is going to have a big game, you can count on wide receiver AJ Brown to have a big game as well. Brown picked apart this Washington defense to the tune of 5 receptions, 85 yards and 1 touchdown back in Week 3. Since that point, he has scored 5 touchdowns across a span of five games. Brown leads all Eagles pass-catchers in red zone targets (11) and is seeing a 30.7% target share on an offense that puts up 391.0 yards per game (No. 4 in NFL). The Commanders have given up 9 touchdowns to opposing WRs this season (T-No. 23 in NFL) and 14.5 yards per catch to the position. Expect to see a couple of deep shots to Brown under the bright lights.
