3 Best Prop Bets for Bulls vs Raptors NBA Play-In Game on April 12 (Pascal Siakam Puts on a Show in Toronto)
Updated:
Wednesday's slate of NBA Play-In Tournament action includes an exciting Eastern Conference showdown between the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors at 7 p.m. ET. FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds list the Raptors as 6-point home favorites with the projected total set at 212.5 points.
Here are three of the best prop bets for the Bulls Raptors game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Bulls vs Raptors Player Props
1. Pascal Siakam — Double-Double: Yes (+150)
Raptors head coach Nick Nurse has made it clear throughout Toronto's past playoff runs that he is not afraid to lean on his stars. Pascal Siakam played an average of 43.4 minutes across the Raptors' six playoff games last season. That's worth pointing out because in the three games Siakam played in more than 43 minutes this season, he averaged 29.0 points and 10.7 rebounds. The two-time All-Star has posted a double-double in three of his last seven playoff games as well as in two of his last three games overall. Grabbing this prop bet at +150 odds lines up as a steal in a win-or-go-home battle.
2. DeMar DeRozan — Points + Rebounds + Assists: Under 32.5 (-115)
One of the big storylines attached to this game involves DeMar DeRozan being back in the arena he called home for the first eight seasons of his NBA career. Fans are anticipating a standout performance from the veteran, but his past playoff outings have left a lot to be desired. DeRozan has tallied fewer than 33 points, rebounds and assists in six of his last nine postseason contests. That same thing can be said about five of his final six games of the 2022-23 regular season as well. Toronto is giving up the fifth-fewest points (20.7) to opposing power forwards and held DeRozan to averages of 14.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists across three matchups this year.
3. Nikola Vucevic — Rebounds: Under 10.5 (-122)
It's easy to look at Nikola Vucevic's season average of 11.0 rebounds per game and expect another double-double from Chicago's big man tonight. This is a nightmare matchup for him, though. Vucevic was held to just 5 rebounds in the one game he played against the Raptors following Toronto's acquisition of Jakob Poeltl. Poeltl is a force around the rim and cleans up missed shots no matter who he is guarding. Vucevic has logged fewer than 11 rebounds in seven of his last nine games overall as well as in nine of his 16 career playoff games. This number is a bit too high for the Switzerland native.
