2023 World Baseball Classic Printable Bracket, Format & Odds

The 2023 World Baseball Classic is set to get underway. 20 teams and countries will face off against one another for the chance to call themselves the world's best baseball team.

World Baseball Classic Format

As mentioned above, the first round will consist of four pools, all with five teams in each pool. The winner and runner-up from each pool will advance to the quarterfinals rounds. Pool A winner will play Pool B runner-up and Pool B winner will play Pool A runner-up, and so on and so forth with Pools C and D. Below are each pool and their teams listed.

Three teams rise above the rest of the field in the odds. As of now, the Dominican Republic is the slight leader in the odds at +220, followed closely by the USA and Japan, both at +260. Below are the top 10 countries in odds to win the 2023 World Baseball Classic, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest baseball odds.

2023 World Baseball Classic Location

The World Baseball Classic will happen across a handful of locations. Each of the four pools that represent five teams each will start in different locations. Pool A will play in Taichung, Taiwan. Pool B plays in Tokyo, Japan. Pool C plays in Phoenix, Arizona and Pool D plays in Miami, Florida.

The Semifinals and Championship rounds will both take place in Miami, Florida as well.
