2022 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Odds Favor South Carolina Over UConn and Stanford

The calendar has turned to March and that means the NCAA women's basketball tournament is soon here. Conference bids are being locked up every day as teams will soon fight it out to determine one true champion. South Carolina remains atop the odds to win it all after finishing with a 29-2 record.

2022 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Odds

The Gamecocks have odds set at +185 to take home the trophy, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Head coach Dawn Staley's team ranks fourth in the country allowing just 51.7 points per game and owns the fifth-best scoring margin as well (+19.6). South Carolina last won it all in 2017.

There is a rather sizable gap before UConn (+480) and Stanford (+500) check in next. Of course, the Cardinal are the reigning champions and recently won the Pac-12 title. Meanwhile, the Huskies ended the season on a nine-game winning streak and will attempt to win their first championship since going undefeated in 2016.
