After another star-studded draft, anticipation is building for the next tentpole event on the annual football calendar: the official release of the 2022-23 NFL schedule. Fortunately, the league office has already given fans a little taste of some of the upcoming matchups, including five bouts on the 2022 International Series, and a pair of Week 2 Monday Night Football matchups.
When is NFL Schedule Released?
The 2022-23 NFL regular-season schedule will be released on Thursday, May 12. Teams around the league already known their opponents and home/away, but no idea the specific order or dates of these matchups.
However, a pair of Monday Night Football matchups was announced on Monday featuring the Tennessee Titans vs Buffalo Bills, and Minnesota Vikings vs Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.

Monday Night Football is a special weekly affair. It's an opportunity for teams to play in prime time, with no other competition remaining on the weekly calendar. There will be at least one Monday Night Football matchup on each week of the NFL's calendar.
