NBA Sixth Man Betting Odds

Tim Hardaway Jr. (+165)

Dallas Mavericks wing Tim Hardaway Jr. is the current favorite to win Sixth Man of the Year. The 10-year vet has enjoyed a resurgent season for the 24-18 Mavs. His 18.1 point-per-game average is tied for the highest of his career while his 3.2 threes per game are a career-high.

Hardaway has served as a capable third option to Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, and he's performed well when they've missed time. He set his career-high with 41 points earlier this week.

Malik Monk (+300)

Malik Monk finished fifth on last year's Sixth Man of the Year ballot, so it's no surprise to see him contending this season.

Through 40 games, the combo guard has averaged 15.1 points, 5.5 assists, and 2.6 threes per game -- all of which are career-highs. His Sacramento Kings currently sit seventh place in the Western Conference with a 23-18 record. Monk has steadily improved all year, upping his points-per-game average each month of the season.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (+650)

Wing Bogdan Bogdanovic is tied for the third-shortest odds, but he's put together as good of a season as anyone. The Serbian sharpshooter averages 16.8 points and 3.1 threes per game.

However, Bogdanovic's Atlanta Hawks have limped to 10th-place standing and 17-23 record in Eastern Conference. Starting shooting guard Dejounte Murray has been in several trade rumors, so Bogdanovic could find himself back in the starting lineup soon, as well.

Jordan Clarkson (+650)

Jordan Clarkson has become a reliable, yearly contender for Sixth Man of the Year. He won the award back in 2021 and finished fourth in 2022, so it wouldn't be unprecedented for him to climb the odds standings again this year.

Clarkson's averaged 17.9 points and a career-high 5.2 assists per game. After starting all 61 of his games last season, he's returned to his bench role this year for a Utah Jazz that's 22-21 and in 9th place in the West.

Others

Outside of the top four, no one else has shorter than 10-to-1 odds to win Sixth Man of the Year.

Bennedict Mathurin and Caris LeVert are next in line in +1200. Both wings have bounced in and out of their teams' starting lineups, and both are on teams currently in line to make the playoffs.

Mathurin's averaged 14.6 points per game thus far, but his usage could take a hit in the wake of the Pascal Siakam trade. He made an appearance on last year's Sixth Man of the Year ballot, finishing eighth.

LeVert's up to 16.0 points and 4.1 assists per game, but he, too, will see a downtick in usage once Darius Garland and Evan Mobley return.

Naz Reid (+2900) slides in next, followed by Norman Powell (+3500), Cole Anthony (+4000), and Austin Reaves (+5000).

Reid has given the first-place Minnesota Timberwolves a nice spark off the bench, and his Sixth Man of the Year odds have climbed significantly in recent weeks. He's averaging 12.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting 41% from three.

Powell's only averaging 13.4 points per game, and he doesn't have a clear path to more usage given L.A.'s star power and depth. He finished fourth in last year's Sixth Man of the Year voting.

Anthony averages 13.6 points and 4.3 rebounds -- plus he's been a high-assist player in the past. He's been a big part of Orlando's 22-19 record but will have more competition for court time with Markelle Fultz back in the mix.

Reaves, too, isn't an unfamiliar name to voters. He finished seventh in last year's ballot. The second-year forward has a strong stat line of 15.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists but has recently re-entered the starting lineup.
