4 FanDuel NFL Values to Target in Conference Championship Round

Finding value is a key part of daily fantasy football on FanDuel. We need to identify the low-salary players who have the potential to pay huge dividends, which allows you to play studs elsewhere in your lineup.

Within this article, we'll be looking at players for the Conference Championship Round main slate, which kicks off at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday.

All betting odds come from the NFL odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

NFL DFS Value Plays

Jared Goff, QB, Detroit Lions

FanDuel Salary: ($7,200)

Much will be made about Jared Goff and his home/road splits, along with the fact he won't be playing in a dome when the Detroit Lions travel to face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The good news is the weather isn't expected to be a factor in the NFC title game.

The matchup isn't one that favors Goff, but the veteran signal-caller has been extremely efficient in the playoffs thus far. Goff has completed 52 of his 70 attempts for 564 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions in Detroit's first two postseason contests.

The showdown between the Lions and the 49ers has a 50.5 total on FanDuel Sportsbook, so there's an expectation for plenty of points being scored. The Lions are also 7.0-point underdogs, making it likely that they'll need to put the ball in Goff's hands to keep pace with the 49ers.

San Francisco's defense is 22nd in completion percentage over expected allowed (0.01) to quarterbacks, via NextGenStats. The defense has also given up 21-plus points and has failed to record more than two sacks in four of their last five games.

Justice Hill, RB, Baltimore Ravens

FanDuel Salary: ($5,500)

When the Baltimore Ravens get near the goal line, Gus Edwards is undoubtedly the team's preferred running back. However, in recent weeks, we could be seeing a shift in which Ravens running back receives more touches between the 20s.

Since Keaton Mitchell sustained a season-ending knee injury in Week 15, Justice Hill has garnered an expanded role in Baltimore's backfield. In the last four games, Hill leads all running backs on the team in snap share (57.8%), target share (18.5%), adjusted opportunities per game (17.7), and expected FanDuel points per game (9.9).

Even though the Ravens had a sizable lead in last week's win in the Divisional Round, Hill turned a team-high 15 touches into 77 scrimmage yards. Meanwhile, Edwards finished with only 39 scrimmage yards on 11 touches.

The Ravens are going to deploy a split backfield, and Lamar Jackson is going to limit the ceiling of Hill and Edwards with his rushing usage. But with the Kansas City Chiefs allowing the 11th-most FanDuel points per target (1.13) and the seventh-most rushing yards over expected per attempt (0.42) to running backs, Hill is still an interesting salary-saving option at the position.

Jauan Jennings, WR, San Francisco 49ers

FanDuel Salary: ($5,300)

There's a chance Deebo Samuel misses Sunday's matchup after suffering a shoulder injury in last week's win in the Divisional Round. Even if Samuel plays, he won't be playing at full strength, which leaves room for Jauan Jennings to see increased snaps.

With Samuel exiting the game fairly early, Jennings was tied for the third-highest target share (16.7%) on the 49ers in last week's contest. Jennings also led San Francisco's skill players in yards per route run (2.26) and finished with a solid 8.5 FanDuel points at a $4,700 FanDuel salary.

Jennings is receiving a salary bump this week, but it is warranted due to the favorable matchup against the Lions. Detroit's defense is surrendering the second-most FanDuel points per target (1.57), second-most yards per route run (1.90), third-most receiving touchdowns (25), and third-highest target rate (21.5%) to wide receivers.

The Lions have also allowed at least one receiver to record 141-plus yards and a touchdown in five straight games. The pass catchers on the 49ers are all poised for explosive performances while Jennings saves us salary and gets us exposure to the team with the highest implied team total (28.75) on Sunday.

Isaiah Likely, TE, Baltimore Ravens

FanDuel Salary: ($5,400)

All signs point toward Mark Andrews making his long-awaited return for the Ravens in the impending matchup against the Chiefs. Even with Andrews expected to play, it's hard to imagine that Isaiah Likely would be completely removed from the offensive game plan with how he's performed in relief of Andrews.

Since taking over as the starting tight end in Week 13, Likely leads the Ravens in FanDuel points per game (13.4), receiving yards per game (57), and yards per route run (2.13). While the Ravens have run 12 personnel at only a 12% rate, they could elect to deploy more formations where Andrews and Likely are on the field together.

Likely has reached 10-plus FanDuel points in five of his last six games, and he has scored six touchdowns in that span. The young tight end also boasts the second-highest red-zone target share (28%) on the Ravens in the team's last seven outings.

The Chiefs are giving up the 11th-most receptions (91) and the 14th-highest target rate (18.7%) to tight ends. In a game where the Ravens want their offense to keep firing on all cylinders, Likely should maintain a solid role in the aerial attack.
