MLB Prop Bets

Justin Turner to Record 2+ Hits (+170)

There's been a lot of struggling throughout the Toronto Blue Jays lineup. However, Justin Turner remains the constant professional in every game.

Turner and the Blue Jays will take on the Washington Nationals tonight. Washington will be sending out Patrick Corbin. inviting the Blue Jays to tee off on lefty.

numberFire's heat map believes as much, giving Toronto the best implied total of the slate (4.99) against Corbin and the Nats.

It makes plenty of sense as Corbin continues to come up short on the mound. The 34-year-old starter has a 6.82 ERA, 4.70 SIERA, and 4.62 FIP. He's also allowed an insane 47 hits in just 31 2/3 innings -- meaning hitters are getting it done against him no matter what.

That's good news for Turner tonight, who destroys lefties and has for his entire career. While it's just a small sample size of 20 plate appearances, Turner is hitting .500 against them with a .595 wOBA and 1.444 OPS. Assuming Corbin doesn't get chased early, Turner should be able to Record 2+ Hits (+170) considering wrecking left-handed pitchers is his specialty.

It's hard not to love Turner's prospects in this one.

Josh Naylor to Record an RBI (+110)

Josh Naylor has been one of the forces behind the Cleveland Guardians' early season success.

The first baseman has hit to the tune of a .261 average, knocking in 24 runs, and smacking 7 home runs. Naylor has put together a .365 wOBA, .857 OPS, and .252 ISO as well in the early going. It's the ability to drive in runs that jumps out the most for tonight, which is why it's worth considering Naylor to Record an RBI (+110).

Naylor is in the right spot to get the opportunity tonight as the Guardians will face Jose Soriano and the Los Angeles Angels.

Soriano has not had the strongest season, posting a 4.76 ERA, 4.33 SIERA, and 5.21 FIP in 22 2/3 innings. He's someone that hitters can punish and is coming off a start where he allowed four runs in just 1 2/3 innings of work. That's what we're looking for tonight.

numberFire's heat map give the Guardians a solid 4.43 implied total tonight, so Naylor and crew are projected to find plenty of success.

Michael Harris II to Record 2+ Total Bases (+105)

Out of all the talented bats in the Atlanta Braves lineup, I like Michael Harris II to Record 2+ Total Bases tonight.

Harris has swung well at the plate to start this season. The Braves' outfielder has a .294 batting average and .338 wOBA. Neither jumps off the page but shows he's seeing the ball well. He has 10 extra-base hits this season, coming through with 6 doubles, a triple, and 3 home runs. To get to the his total-bases prop tonight, there's a good chance he earns his 10th multi-hit game of the season. Harris has been a bit cold in his last few with just one hit in four games, but with the right matchup -- which tonight seems to be -- he should get on track.

Atlanta will be facing the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight in what is expected to be one of the best series in baseball all year long.

The Braves have the third-best implied total (4.66) against starter Gavin Stone, per numberFire's heat map.

Stone hasn't had success -- as shown by his 5.02 SIERA, 4.68 ERA, and 4.75 expected FIP (xFIP). Along with that, his flyball rate is up from his handful of innings a year ago at 37.2%.

Harris hits righties better, amassing .355 wOBA, .804 OPS, 34.4% hard-hit rate. With that and Stone's misfortunes on the bump, fire up the outfielder tonight.
