Player props can be useful in a variety of ways -- from taking advantage of them straight up to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy baseball on FanDuel.

Here, we're going to focus on the former, specifically home run props.

Utilizing our projections -- which are powered by numberFire -- as a guide, here are some MLB home run props bets that look appealing via the MLB odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Home Run Props

Vinnie Pasquantino To Hit a Home Run (+520)

The Kansas City Royals have a solid 4.52 implied run total and a good matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Brew Crew will send Bryse Wilson to the mound tonight, a pitcher we can target for home runs every time he is on the slate.

Last season, Wilson allowed a .459 SLG, 1.29 HR/9, 4.41 xFIP, 42.7% hard-contact rate, and 34.6% fly-ball rate versus left-handed hitters. His numbers from this season are largely in line with those, albeit via a smaller sample size.

We turn to Vinnie Pasquantino, who has been crushing righties this season with a 118 wRC+, .342 wOBA, .207 ISO, 42.2% fly-ball rate, and 32.5% hard-contact rate. It's a great skill set to have versus Wilson, so I'll add Pasquantino To Record an RBI (+115), too.

Brent Rooker To Hit a Home Run (+430)

With some serious power, Brent Rooker is a player to consider for a long ball tonight.

The Oakland Athletics aren't the first team that comes to mind when we're talking about legit power hitters, but Rooker may be the exception.

This season versus lefties, he has a 138 wRC+, .359 wOBA, .346 ISO, 52.9% fly-ball rate, and 33.3% HR/FB ratio. All of that is no joke and when we see an ISO over .300, that player has to be on the shortlist for home runs.

Tonight, he's up against Andrew Heaney, who struggled last season versus right-handed hitters to the tune of a .448 SLG, 4.44 xFIP, 1.64 HR/9, 45.3% fly-ball rate, and 33.7% hard-contact rate.

It's an all-around great matchup for Rooker, so I'll add Rooker To Record an RBI (+165), too.

Bryan Reynolds To Hit a Home Run (+630)

A good matchup and intriguing odds make Bryan Reynolds's home run prop worth a look.

That matchup is against Tyler Anderson, who struggled against righties with a .447 SLG, .337 wOBA, 5.50 xFIP, 1.13 HR/9, and 50.9% fly-ball rate. Anderson truly isn't a pitcher we need to be worried about on the mound and it brings me to Reynolds tonight.

Reynolds is off to a good start this season versus lefties with a 183 wRC+, .435 wOBA, .244 ISO, and 33.3% HR/FB ratio. He has power and while he may not be a traditional fly-ball home run hitter, the matchup and the odds are worth targeting.
