College Basketball Prop Bets

No. 11 Wisconsin Badgers at Michigan Wolverines

Tyler Wahl Over 11.5 Points (-130)

Wisconsin has one of the most efficient offenses in the Big Ten, ranking 8th in KenPom's adjusted offensive efficiency while also ranking in the 83rd percentile of field goal percentage (FG%). The Badgers get a favorable matchup against the worst defense in the Big Ten, with Michigan ranking 186th in adjusted defensive efficiency.

The Wolverines paint defense has been perhaps the biggest weakness as they rank in the bottom 4% in two-pointers made and attempted per game. Wisconsin's Tyler Wahl (11.6 PPG) leads the team with 69.2% of field goals taking place around the rim. Targeting Wahl's scoring total could yield success.

Wahl also comes off a season-high 20 points while shooting 62.5% from the field. This came against another weak interior defense with Purdue ranking in the bottom 19% in two-point attempts allowed per contest.

Michigan's Terrance Williams II will likely guard Wahl, and he has the second-worst Defensive Bayesian Performance Rating on the team, per EvanMiya. Wahl reaching over 11 points could be a slam dunk.

No. 16 Alabama Crimson Tide at No. 12 Auburn Tigers

Johni Broome Over 9.5 Rebounds (-105)

Tonight, the SEC features a must-see rivalry between No. 16 Alabama and No. 12 Auburn. Per FanDuel Sportsbook's SEC odds, the Crimson Tide are the betting favorite to win the conference at +145 while the Tigers are the third choice to reign supreme in the SEC (+230).

One of Auburn's potential advantages for tonight could be on the glass. Alabama ranks in the bottom half of defensive rebounding percentage, and the Tigers are led by the SEC's top defensive rebounder in Johni Broome, who touts a 27.0% defensive rebounding percentage -- more than two percentage points better than the SEC's second best mark (24.9%).

The junior forward leads the team with 8.8 rebounds per game (RPG) and has averaged 10.3 RPG over his previous four. Considering that recent production, I like Broome's chances of reaching double-digit boards once again.

The Tide consistently start a four-guard lineup, and center Grant Nelson is almost way behind Broome's defensive rebounding percentage with a clip of 17.4%. Alabama also ranks in the bottom half in opponent offensive rebounding percentage, and Broome touts the SEC's fourth-best offensive rebounding percentage at 12.1%.

Broome seems poised for another big game on the boards.

No. 19 Creighton Bluejays at Providence Friars

Devin Carter Over 3.5 Assists (-125)

Devin Carter has been a stat-sheet-stuffer, leading Providence with 18.6 PPG, 7.9 RPG, 3.4 assists per game (APG), and 1.6 steals per game. After Carter reached at least four assists in five of his last six games, I like his chances of passing 3.5 assists.

First off, the Friars do a good job of getting consistent looks at the rim, with 40.9% of their field goals labeled as "close twos" by Bart Torvik. Meanwhile, Creighton gives up the most two-point attempts per game in college basketball. Providence should find success on offense, boosting Carter's chance to rack up assists.

He also leads the team with a 22.1% assist percentage. The Bluejays' Steven Ashworth, who has the worst DBPR in the starting lineup (0.64), could be tasked with guarding Carter. Against a susceptible defender, Carter would have an even better chance of stacking his assist total.

All in all, Carter checks a few boxes, and I like his chances to record at least four assists.
