Player props can be useful in a variety of ways -- from taking advantage of them straight up to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy baseball on FanDuel. Here, we're going to focus on the former.

Utilizing our projections -- which are powered by numberFire -- as a guide, here are some MLB player props bets that look appealing via the MLB odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

MLB Prop Bets

Christian Yelich to Record an RBI (+145)

Christian Yelich just made his return to the Milwaukee Brewers lineup and looks like he hasn't missed a beat.

Milwaukee will face the St. Louis Cardinals in an NL Central matchup tonight. The Cardinals will try to slow down the Brewers lineup with Lance Lynn, who should be a good pitcher to deliver against for the Brew Crew. While Lynn has kept his ERA down this year to a 3.28, he's sporting a tough 4.44 SIERA -- which would be his worst since 2017.

Lynn also has a 4.57 FIP, 1.40 WHIP, and is allowing a flyball rate of 42.5%. Offenses can and should thrive against Lynn, so I'm counting on that tonight.

When it comes to betting on Yelich, let's run with him to Record an RBI (+145). The former NL MVP missed some time due to injury but has shown in short order that he's still swinging the bat well, coming off a three-hit game.

Through his first 13 games this season, Yelich has already smashed 5 home runs, driving in 12 runs and hitting to the tune of a .470 wOBA. In the small sample size, he is hitting the ball with a 46.2% hard-hit rate, which would be his best since 2019 if he can keep it up.

With the way he's rolling, back Yelich tonight against Lynn and the Cardinals.

Connor Wong to Record 2+ Total Bases (-110)

The final remaining member of the Boston Red Sox's trade of Mookie Betts is having a breakout season. I like Connor Wong to Record 2+ Total Bases (-110) tonight.

Boston returns home to Fenway Park tonight, welcoming in the Washington Nationals for a three-game weekend series. That's good news for the Red Sox; Game 1 of the series will give them the chance to face Patrick Corbin.

The left-handed starter's struggles have been well-documented by now, as he continues to just eat as many innings as he can for the Nats. Through his first seven starts this season, Corbin has a 6.45 ERA, 4.41 FIP, 4.83 SIERA, and 1.81 WHIP -- which would be a career-worst if the season ended today. He's watched teams pile up 53 hits against him through 37 2/3 innings.

numberFire's heat map has the Red Sox locked into the second-best implied total of the night at 4.93, setting them up for success against Corbin.

Wong is the hitter to go with tonight thanks to his impressive start to the season, showing that it may not be a hot streak but him figuring it out at the plate. The catcher is hitting .354 with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs, 4 doubles, and a .417 wOBA. In 24 games, he has 9 extra-base hits. He's quietly become a hit machine for the Red Sox, and it's seen him move up as high as the two spot in the lineup.

There should be confidence in Wong coming through for this bet tonight.

Adolis Garcia to Record 3+ Total Bases (+140)

It's liftoff tonight at Coors Field as the Texas Rangers and Colorado Rockies face off.

Unsurprisingly, the Rangers have the best implied total of the day (5.88) against the Rockies and their starter Austin Gomber, per numberFire's heat map.

Gomber is a starter you look to get anyone against as he's put together a 4.82 SIERA, 5.27 FIP, and 1.29 WHIP this season. A stat that shouldn't surprise anyone is that the left-handed pitcher has already allowed seven home runs through 38 innings pitched, meaning that the Rangers should be able to flex their power tonight.

I'm looking at Adolis Garcia to be the guy we want to back. Garcia should have no problem showing his offensive prowess -- especially against lefties. When facing southpaws this season, Garcia is hitting .311 with a .886 OPS and .371 wOBA. Thriving at the plate is what Garcia does, and his home run power should help him Record 3+ Total Bases (+140) that we're looking for tonight.

I like Garcia to Hit a Home Run (+300), too. That would cash this in a swing.
